What is your tent cancellation policy?

We require a 50% deposit on all reservations. Complete cancellations made prior to 2 weeks of the event will receive a refund of 50% of the initial deposit. Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the event WILL NOT receive a refund of the paid deposit.

Is a tent permit required?

Tent permits vary from county and city and all fees will be responsible by the Renter. Contact Reliable Tent Rental with questions.

How can we ensure safety when installing stakes?

Reliable Tent will contact Ohio 811/OUPS to have all public utilities marked prior to delivery. You the renter are responsible for all private installed lines.

What preparation do I need to do prior to installation of tent?

Please clear the area of all structure, furniture and debris.

What if there is a threat of severe weather or storms?

In case of inclement weather, you should always have a backup or rain plan. An Evacuation plan for tents during severe weather is highly recommended to avoid any possible injury.

What is the difference between frame and pole tents?

Frame Tents are supported by a freestanding structure and do not require any center poles. Frame tents do require anchoring to secure the tent in harsh weather conditions.

Pole Tents or tension tents are supported by upright center and side poles. Anchoring is required at tension points around the tents perimeter.

Are sidewalls included in the price of the tent?

Sidewalls are NOT included with the price of the tent. You have an option of either Solid Sidewalls or Window Sidewalls.

Are set up charges included in the price of the tent?

The set up and tear down of the tent(s) is included in the price.

Can we use sandbags or water barrels to stake?

We do offer barrels as a means of anchoring frame tents. The customer is responsible for providing a means of water to fill the barrels. We no longer use sandbags.

What size of tent do I need to fit “x” amount of people and “x” amount of tables?

Please refer to the seating chart. There will be a chart that provides information for what we recommend.

How high is the tent? Height at peak?

The standard height around the perimeter of our tents (frame or pole) is 7 feet. However we do offer taller side poles for an additional charge. The standard peak height of the tents varies depending on the width of the tent.
